Thomas Inwood, CHST, STS

Safety Coordinator
Direct line: (510) 743-6011

Thomas loves to educate and train fellow Baysidian’s that safety and production go hand in hand. He helps to consult field supervision and educate and train craftsmen in regards to safety.

Thomas has been a Union-trained carpenter for over 20 years; with this experience, he knows the “ins and outs” of construction projects and how to keep our craftsmen safe through training and education. He joined our family in 2012 when our EMR was a .53 and has helped us bring it down to an unheard of .44. He is currently waiting to sit for the CHST examination and is currently enrolled at Columbia Southern University and is very close to graduating with a degree of Applied Science in Occupational Health and Safety.

When not at work, at school, or at church on Sunday, Thomas is always busy with his family, doing things like camping, fishing and bike riding. He is also an avid motorcyclist and self-proclaimed “gearhead.” He was the first one on his block to have flames painted on his lawnmower.
